Google Places: Changes to how it’s Displayed in Search Results

Google have rolled out changes to the way a places account is displayed in Local Onebox in the search results. I think this is a permament change as I’ve used a number of IPs to check it out and they all reflect the same change.

Google to start charging for Maps

I’ve had a rant about Google Maps before, especially the Google Local Business Centre element.

I’ve said a few times that Google has to improve the service and that they’ll need to make it make some money to put the investment they need to in, in order to improve the software.
