Google Announces Panda Update Throughout The English Speaking World

Well. we’ve all been waiting with baited breath to see what the impact of the Panda update would be. About a month ago Google announced they had launched a new update that aimed to reduce the low quality sites and pages from its index, they estimated around 12% of the index would be effected. In SEO terms, that, is MASSIVE!!

The Challenge of Facebook to Google if Facebook expands into search

Google has dominated the search market for quite some time, and no matter what their competitors have tried to do (Microsoft have launched 3 search services in the time Google has been going: MSN Search, Live and Bing) it doesn’t look like they will be able to take much more market share off the search giant.

The real competition in my view comes from Facebook.

Google Instant Preview: When SEO and Web Design Collide

It’s been a couple of weeks since Google rolled out the Instant Preview function of their new search interface allowing users to have a look at a website before visiting it.

This new dimension to the Google search bridges one of the last remaining gaps in the website development process, web design is no longer purely an onsite factor and can now have an impact on click through rate.
