Total Warrior – John Graham

The catalyst for taking part in Total Warrior was to raise some cash and awareness for Trinity Hospice, who looked after our colleague, Kieran, for the last few weeks of his life. John was one of his closest friends, so this cause means more to him than most •

As we’ve said before, Trinity Hospice & Palliative Care Services is a fantastic establishment whose staff works to make comfortable, high quality end of life care the norm.

However, in order to do this, they have to raise a lot of money about £5 million each and every year! So to thank them for doing so much for our friend Kieran, we want to give something back and you can help! Please throw a few quid into our Just Giving pot, and you can help thousands of local people every year get care for their loved ones.

Our Senior Designer, John Graham, is training hard for Total Warrior as he saw first-hand the help Kieran was being provided.

 

What does your Total Warrior training regime look like?

Strength training at the gym three times a week; 5-7km run twice a week and swimming once a week.

Has your routine changed massively from what you did before?

I’ve always been quite fitness orientated, but I did have a bit of a year off from Christmas 2013 to Christmas 2014!

What obstacle are you most looking forward to?

Definitely the 120ft water slide! That’s gonna be great.

What obstacle could you do without?

Claustrophobe I’m not a fan of small, tight, dark spaces.

Why the hell are you doing this?

To honour Kieran Gorman, and to prove that I can.

How good does that beer sound?

Not as good as five beers sounds.
