2am are looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. We need a Junior Graphic Designer who is willing to go the extra mile and pay attention to the detail, to ensure that our brand values are always upheld and exceed the expectations of our customers.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Experience with Adobe software, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- An excellent eye for typography
- A natural ability for design and attention to detail
- Must be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
- Must keep up to date with design trends
Desirable Skills & Personal Qualities
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Passionate and driven
- Able to respond positively to constructive criticism
Training and Support
The position is for a Junior Graphic Designer, so we’re not expecting you to know everything there is to know yet! Our Senior Graphic Designer will be working closely with you to impart his wisdom, hone your skills and add finesse to your working practice. We will make sure you have the training and support you need to develop your skills and produce outstanding finished products.
We’re a pretty relaxed bunch here at 2am and that’s the way we like it. Our team is small and familiar real family unit so we’re always up for a laugh. As long as you can give as good as you get then you’ll fit right in!
Our office and working environment is informal and creative, because we find that this is the best way of getting things done and staying fresh. Every member of the team gets involved with a project to ensure that no stone goes unturned. This is great for a Junior Graphic Designer because you will gain vital insights into how every stage of a project informs the design elements.
Contract and Salary
This is a full-time position, which is subject to a standard three-month probationary period. The successful applicant will be paid a basic starting salary, with an excellent potential for growth and opportunities for the right person.
We work Monday to Friday, from 9:00am until 5:00pm. As well as your annual leave allowance, you are also entitled to Bank Holidays off.
